London, UK, June 14, 2022 – Cognia has appointed Kathryn Williams as the new head of their business advisory team. Kathryn brings over 25 years’ experience delivering complex programmes and making transformational change at a wide range of organisations including the BBC, Tesco, Unilever and Yorkshire Building Society.

Kathryn brings a unique perspective having developed her expertise working with clients both as an independent consultant and at EY, Clifford Chance and PwC.

Her appointment reflects growing demand from legal leaders to collaborate with advisors they can trust to align legal services to their organisation’s strategic priorities, embed digitization, manage high volumes of work and still maintain quality, minimise risk and manage cost.

Janet Taylor-Hall, CEO at Cognia said, “It’s fantastic to have Kathryn on board. Her experience of working with FTSE 100 companies and large public sector bodies, ideally places her to help our clients overcome the challenges they face. Her highly commercial approach and understanding of the complexities of delivering high-value, cost effective legal services will be invaluable to meeting our ambitions for the growth of Cognia.”

Kathryn Williams, Head of Business Advisory commented, “It’s wonderful to join Cognia at such an exciting time of their growth plans. I’m looking forward to working with the leadership team as they continue to help GCs and legal leaders manage ever increasing pressure from CEOs and Boards for their time and skills.”
