London, UK, October 12, 2022 – Cognia has appointed Jennifer Yazdanpanahi as their new Global Delivery Director.

As clients are dealing with uncertainty either in response to specific events such as the war in Ukraine or developments in the economic environment, Cognia has seen increased demand for their managed legal teams to handle more complex projects and business as usual activity.

In the new role of Global Delivery Director, Jennifer will effectively manage the work we provide to our clients at a consistently high standard. She brings an extensive skill set developed over the last 20 years managing engagements for large international corporations including State Street Global Advisors, Barclays Global Investors, KPMG, and Maitland.

Jennifer has deep experience of efficiently delivering multifaceted projects for multinational clients at professional and financial services companies. One of her stand-out successes was when she built and led a strategic business in London for State Street Global Advisors, one of the world’s largest asset managers.

Janet Taylor-Hall, CEO at Cognia said, “Our global delivery team plays a pivotal role in freeing up our clients’ time so they can focus on strategic priorities of their business. We are delighted that Jennifer has joined as our new Global Delivery Director as she brings invaluable experience of managing engagements related to a wide range of challenges.”

Jennifer Yazdanpanahi, Global Delivery Director commented, “The opportunity to bring my global delivery experience to Cognia’s clients stood out for me. Cognia’s diverse skills, from senior experienced lawyers to paralegals, business and legal operations professionals, project managers, technologists and data analysts, ideally positions us to partner with and service a wide range of financial services institutions, law firms and corporates. I look forward to leading these teams to achieve results that both Cognia and our clients are proud of.”

This latest appointment also realises Cognia’s strategic goal to achieve 50% representation of women on its senior leadership team, following Kathryn Williams joining in the summer as Head of Business Advisory. Investing in women is an integral part of Cognia’s commitment to building diverse teams that thrive and give clients access to the best talent. To achieve this objective, Cognia continues to focus on embedding diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.
